Soft Polytheism and Yahweh

I have to admit I really enjoy blogging. It helps to really sort out my thoughts even if this is just my second post.

So let's jump write into it. I am in fact a Soft Polytheist, which means that I believe in archetypal deities. However I view it a little more different. When it comes to like say the Gods: Odin, Zeus, Yahweh, I believe that those are in fact the same deity. Just different faces of the same deity. Calling them one name over the other doesn't mean anything or target that deity any differently. It may only merely change the personality trait of the deity you are calling on.

With that being said I do worship Odin, in the sense that I worship Yahweh, whose is in fact Odin, as well as Zeus and other similar leading deities.

Now we have a basic understand of who exactly Yahweh is to me we can begin to understand what exactly he means to me.

Yahweh is a God of Peace and Light.  A God of knowledge and Intelligence. So much knowledge that us humans can not possibly begin to understand. You know the phrase "God knows all." that is so unbelievably true, which is obviously referring to a God of Knowledge. He is so smart he knows the day of the end of times, he knows what is going to happen in every humans life who ever existed and ever will exist.

People commonly mistake his knowledge and wisdom for precise and strict guidelines. Because with that phrase a lot of people recognize he is a God of Wisdom but refrain from saying so because that is "pagan sounding." Yes in the bible, it speaks of how one should live their lives. But the thing is, anyone who doesn't read their religious text spiritually is not truly understanding what their religion is trying to explain to them. Besides the obvious things the bible tells you not to do like: don't be a basic bad person. There are messages that can be perceived through the text. Which is sadly masked by the humans ignorant war tainted ideals. Besides all the personalized things in the bible that the original author tainted the pages with. That is literally all the bible tells you to do. "Be good. Help others. Here are examples. Don't do bad things. I love you" 

It's definitely not the mainstream when it comes to beliefs, especially in the witchcraft community as well as pagans. People in our community have discounted the idea of worshiping Yahweh due to the stigma put forth unto him that he is the christian god therefor he should be the only one worshiped. No, that was written because the original author who heard the word of god, was living in a time of bias and insecurity, and war and famine that he couldn't comprehend the idea of living under a god who could exude so much peace and love, while the entirety (or most of the human race) is being so judgmental. 

It's a very large step to be taking to think in the ways I do. I can assure you though, Yahweh is above hate he truly is a God that loves and with no exception does he hate or condemn. I challenge all who are pagan, or even christian to put down the bible, when you are looking for the word of God, and pick up your God phone because only then will you get the truth about just how beatiful Yahweh is.

My Beliefs

     Hello everyone, so I have decided to dedicate this post to talk a little bit about my personal beliefs. Now I will apologize in advance, what I believe in is very confusing, even for me. However I will try my best just so that you can have a little better of an understanding of what other posts will come to surface.

I will go a head and start from the top: God or no God?

My answer: All of the above.

I do believe there are multiple gods goddesses. I believe that all goddesses and gods that share similar qualities are in fact the same entity. Which I believe is called Soft Polytheism. I believe that say, Odin and Zeus are the same, just diferent qualities, or faces of that God. Which is hard to understand if you really think about it. Like, Cernonus and Pan, to me are the same, just different faces.

Okay, so which ones?

I personally believe in the Christian God. However I do not perceive him for being the way that most Christians see him. I believe that just like other gods and goddesses he has a plane that he rules over, just like all others. I believe that Yahweh is a very misunderstood god. He is a God of wisom and eternal knowledge. Also ruling over ideals of light and peace. I believe that he is a God that stands so tall in his kingdom that people can't comprehend the truth. I believe that people couldn't comprehend how an entity so powerful required no extreme mesures. I believe that the humans who declared war in his name only did so because they were just that; innocent, ignorant humans in a time submerged in war and famine. I will go on more in detail about my beliefs in Yahweh later.

How about spiritually?

I take a lot of teachings from Buddhism. Which is were currently I am focusing my studies. I take a lot of it's teachings into mine. With the exception of a few buddhist ideals which I have come to discount on terms of disagreement. From studying Buddhism I have found a purpose to exist. I believe that it is a very acceptable and lovely reason for which I believe I exist. I have set my life existence for one reason, and it is purely centered on helping people. I have began to strip my ego down to the minimum. I have began to center my life around aiding people not just on a physical level but on a spiritual level as well.

I also do practice witchcraft. I have been practicing witchcraft for around 9 years now (almost a decade!). I do not personally practice hexing and refrain from cursing people. When it come to witchcraft most of my practice comes from little casual practices I do, such as wishing people luck and wishing a good day. My words always come loaded with intent based on love and light. Which you will learn is my mantra. While trecking on this line of thought I will mention that I am psychic, but don't worry I don't claim to be some super bad-A psychic who can predict into the future endevours of your person. As of right now just premonition of soon to come events. Like whether this basketball team will make this up coming basket haha. As well as dreams and the normal gut feeling.

I believe that is just a about everything. That I can think of anyways. I guess you could call me a Soft Polytheistic eclectic witch? Is that even a thing? Haha can you be a soft polytheist and eclectic? I don't know. All I know is that's what sounds good at the moment. I hope you all enjoyed and look forward to what's to come!
